RockBand Mania

SO Lance and I have been promising our little 14 year olds since the very first day we taught them, that we would have a Rock Band party at the end of the year, before they were whisked away to us to the next poor soul who babysat them on Sundays. (JUST kidding! They are QUITE the handful but we love them so much! We're going to miss those little heathens!) SO... Last Sunday was our last week with them, and we decided right after the ward party that previous Friday would be the perfect day to have our party. They were all astonished that we actually came through on our promise... It turned out to be a massive success! All but 3 of our kiddies came. Lance's favorites (is he allowed to have favorites?) are these two boys who look like twins. They are quiet, and when they DO have something to say, it CRACKS Lance up.... mostly because it's usually irrelevant and obscure. Anyway - His favorite (I call them the twins) and MY favorite, Jordan (he's the all-american perfect child. Also the bishop's son) were the stars of the night. They seriously played like the crazy kids you see on YouTube who do every song on expert with no sweat. It was entertaining just to watch them. We had our darling friends Mitch and Kensie over too. Mitch is a rockstar legend....When Lance and I were dating, almost every time I'd come over Mitch was either rocking out, or putting his shirt back on after a rock band session. Kensie has the most beautiful voice, so it's not exactly fun trying to go up against her in the vocals. :) We have a wii-lovin house, with wii-lovin friends and wii-lovin kids. It was a great night...even though we jammed in the dust of sheet rock and exposed 2x4's... I dont really think anyone noticed. Anyway - here are a few pictures I snapped with my iPhone (I cant find my battery charger for my camera anywhere!)

My fav, Jordan, is far left. my next fave, Austin, is on tha drummms

Lance told me that in Hawaii you ALWAYS take off your shoes before you enter someones home.... We're following that tradition here... Lance also told me if the house looks like the picture above, with a ton of shoes out in front, you KNOW it's a good party and it's worth checkin out. HOLLA looks like we were a bumpin' partay!

mitch, kens and lancey.
