Put your shoulder to the wheel....

OH MAN! It's been over a MONTH since i've been on this thing. Here's a quick update on life:

We're newlyweds, so it's not like we're "rollin' in the dough". But I have an extremely thrifty husband. His mom told me once that ever since she could remember, lance has always saved his money and spread it out in very particular and specific ways. Looks like that transferred over into his adult life! He's used KSL and manpower (and bff Von) to buy materials for literally 1/6 of the cost, we've been blessed with the opprotunity to revamp our livingroom and kitchen. It's still in the works... and i'll post more progressive pictures where you can see before, during and after progress once we've completed it... Lance also has made me a workhorse, and I have quite literally been there with him side-by-side tearing out sheetrock, pulling up floorboards and carpet, ripping out nails, sanding, sawing, cutting, measuring... everything. LITERALLY both of our blood, sweat and tears are in this project (actually only my tears are in it thus far... i had my first breakdown the other day - i think everyone has one in every remodel project). My latest thing was, after i helped lance nail in the wood flooring, I hand-sanded the entire floor, and stained it. whew! anyway. So i've been MIA for this reason... i'll be back soon to show you the miracle of some good ol' fashioned handy work.

Here's Pre-Demolition.... pantry and laundry area.
