Sigh of relief!

We are remodeling our kitchen/livingroom (at a snails pace, mind you)... and I had to decide our counter color today. I had a mini panic attack because it's such a large, permanent decision (definitely an Achilles heel of mine!) and became extremely worried I didn't know what the heck I was doing. I've been notoriously known for making outrageous decorating/fashion decisions which never really bothered me before, but now that I am deciding for two (plus the next 10 years + I'll be stuck looking at it)... So I googled in a frenzie, searching for a timeless look. I've always loved the French-Country look (and Lance served in the French countryside for the majority of his mission)... so I'm pretty sure this style will work for me for a long time. Anyway...in my frenzied-search, I came across this awesome blog - which I will use as a guide for how to get my house to (someday) come together. For now, I think I have finally made a decision - I just have to buy it, give it to Lance (and dad), close my eyes, and go do something to occupy my anxiety. Who would have thought picking out counter top colors would be so stressful?
