just like stretching physical muscles can hurt
stretching your emotional muscles can hurt,
but it's about growth and growing in ways that are

positive,
productive
and allow both of you to move closer to Heavenly Father.

One of the keys of His existence is His relationship with our Heavenly Mother,
without that relationship our growth is stunted forever
and we cannot be the beings of eternal increase that we are destined to be.

Every interaction you have with a man should be viewed in that context:

'Is he helping me in my strivings to be like my Father and Mother and to have an eternal increase?'

hard yes,

but deeply rewarding,

don't forget that.

Life isn't intend to be nothing but hard,
God blesses us perpetually and happiness is what we are striving for.
Not a superficial happiness
but
a deep seated contentment that comes from completing something hard and

 being the better for it."
