Sometimes it's a little challenging to be a newlywed. With a budget. (A very tiny budget). And new clothes never fit into that budget... Anyone who knows me knows this, in its self, is a challenge. I know there are worse things in life, but I love clothes. I love the smell of them. I love the texture of something crisp, never worn. I love the bright colors, never faded by the harsh detergent, water, and wash cycle. I love buying something I see that's on trend, that makes my wardobe a little more complete. I love snazzing things up. I love getting un-bored with my clothes by making a simple purchase of a new cardigan...
I really could go on and on.
SO. That being said, I have a hard time with not experiencing this little high that I used to experience quite often before I was married, and have to give myself a pep talk every now and then.
It's actually been kind of an adventure, pulling things that I haven't worn in a while and trying to make them interesting.
Today I read this blog post, written by my non-celeb fashion icon, and it made me feel so much better - it just solidified my revamping of the wardrobe theory. Old can be fabulous.
check it.
