Sometimes he surprises me

Here's another one of our conversations:

Ashley: Hey, do you know what my favorite flowers are?

Lance: uh... hydrangeas.

Ashley: What? yes! good job! what's my second favorite?

Lance: uh...the ones that sound like panties.

Ashley: Peonie?

Lance: yep.

Ashley: What about the third favorite?

Lance: Lilies, any kind.

Ashley: nope, that used to be my favorite.

Lance: What the heck dude who does that?

Ashley: What? i still like them

Lance: yeah but i can't keep up.

Ashley: Okay well just for future reference Dahlias are my third favorite.

Lance: Okay dear.


HAHAH! I was SO surprised by this conversation. Sometimes it seems like he doesn't pay attention to much detail -- especially flowers.

SO! serious Kudos to you sweety for knowing what the heck a hydrangea is... (although it just dawned on me that while we were in San Fransisco a few months ago, we were driving near the bay and every single house had huge Hydrangea bushes and every 5 minutes Id beg him to steal me one or two blooms.... haha still, either way - remembering the name is impressive!)
